Case filed against NYC cops 14 years later

NEW YORK — In 1995, two detectives staking out a Bronx apartment unleashed a deadly barrage of 28 bullets on a pair of young robbery suspects, setting off angry protests against then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani and the NYPD.
The victims were face-down on the ground when they were killed, one shot eight times in the back and the second hit with 14 bullets, mostly in the back.
